The Most Perplexing Man in the World - Luke 9:7-9

We've had quite an exciting and fun week at Ascension with Vacation Bible School 2013 SonWest Roundup. We had about 130 kids and the most volunteers we've ever had -- about 60 friends from Georgia, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and our locals here in Queens! We can't thank enough all of these participating friends and families for such a great time.

We're gearing up now for our Sunday worship service tomorrow, when we'll look at the most perplexing man in the world, both in his time but also ours -- Jesus. We will also be looking at the other person besides Jesus whom some during his day considered the "King of the Jews." Do we have anything in common with this person, especially as he was perplexed and wondered if he might be able to see this Jesus for himself?

Join us tomorrow at 11am as we explore Jesus, the Messiah, and consider also how he defies our attempts to demote or dismiss him.
